Julie Lucas, owner and licensed skin care therapist, began her career in
the beauty industry in 1991 as a manicurist. Realizing that her true
calling was skincare, she eventually took the next step and became a
licensed esthetician in 2007. Over the next few years, she expanded
her education through classes, trainings, and seminars to increase her
knowledge and skills, while working in spas and as an independent
professional.
She then decided to take a more holistic and natural approach to her
business. Julie added Reiki Therapy, Crystals, Gua Sha, Kansa, and Thai
Poultice Massages. By combining these Eastern inspired techniques
with traditional treatments and high quality products, she is able to
offer a unique treament for each guest. Every service is customized for
the individual at the time of service.

60 Minutes Deluxe Facial Treatment
The 60-minute customized facial includes skin analysis, deep cleansing, exfoliation, gentle extractions, facial massage, moisturiers, and environmental protection.
90 Minutes Deluxe Facial Treatment
This 90-minute treatment offers the same basics as the 60-minute with additional options such as LED, Derma-plane, Oxygen Infusion, Thai Poultice massage or Reflexology.

Crystal Gemstone Facial
For those looking for a deeper experience, adding Reiki,

🌸 Meet Julie Lucas | Owner | Skin Sense 101 🌸
I began my career in the beauty industry as a manicurist, but my true passion had always been skincare. When I felt ready to expand my business, I became a licensed esthetician and opened Skin Sense 101 in 2007. Always looking for more education, I attended classes and seminars, trying to find the right tools, products, and services until I wasn't sure what my focus should be. I developed an interest in Eastern inspired treatments and tools and began the transition. Next came Reiki and crystals. Trying to create a unique place in esthetics, I chose "skincare for the soul".
I am now able to incorporate crystal healing and Reiki in my facial services. I found natural, holistic, and non-invasive treatments that are rejuvenating, relaxing and effective. I provide individualized treatments that target the client's needs at the time of service. Some even nap during their treatments! The ability to combine several eastern massage techniques with western modalities results in a unique experience. From acne to age management, I help my clients find an alternative to invasive treatments, medications, surgery, and injectables.
I still love learning and researching new treatments and products. Offering you affordable and effective skincare is my goal.
Finding my authentic self has been a difficult journey, but I have finally found my true path and I look forward to inspiring you to do the same. Together, we'll work to rediscover and release your inner beauty and build confidence from the inside out.
